Marilyn Wenz, Esq. , received her Juris Doctor from New York Law School in June 1998 and was admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York in July 1999. Since she was admitted, she has devoted her energies to the practice of domestic relations law in Suffolk County Supreme Court and Family Court. She is a member of the  Suffolk County Bar Association, Appellate Practice Committee, Suffolk County Matrimonial Bar Association and Suffolk County Women's Bar Association

Prior to becoming a solo practictioner, she was an associate attorney with Christine Grobe, Esq. from June 1996 until January 2005 and a partner in the law firm Grobe and Wenz, L.P. from January 2005 until August 2010 where her primary function was to conduct legal research and  prepare all motions, pleadings, petitions, and written submissions for all client matters, including appeals .

She graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook Magna Cum Laude in June 1993 and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa, Pi Sigma Alpha and Golden Key National Honor societies.

She is an active member of the Holbrook Chamber of Commerce and a Director since May 2010. Most recently, she successfully completed highly advanced training with her golden retriever, Buddy, and has become a Patchogue Rotary Animal Assisted Therapy (PRAAT) Volunteer, providing therapy at various local hospitals, nursing homes and rehabilitation centers.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Marilyn was employed as a Suffolk County Legislative Aide for the 2nd L.D. in Shirley and held various administrative positions at the Town of Brookhaven Community Development and Economic Development programs, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, USV Pharmaceuticals, the Suffolk County Clerk's office and the Bank of the Hamptons.

Marilyn has resided with her husband in Holbrook since 1973.  Over the past 38 years, she has been very active in the community, including local government, civic associations, election campaigns, student exchange programs, Girls Scouts of America and religious education at Good Shepherd Church. 

She has three children and four grandchildren.



Gregory has been an Associate Attorney at my law firm since July 2012. He received his Juris Doctor from Touro Law School in June 2012, where he was a member of Law Review and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He was admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York in February 2013. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Suffolk County Bar Association and the Matrimonial Bar Association and has been exclusively focusing on the areas of matrimonial and family law.
